Dr. Victoria Soltis-Jarrett is the faculty advisor for Walk. Support. Glow. (WSG), a mental health and suicide prevention non-profit organization on campus. Peyton Morris (UNC Chapel Hill Pre-Nursing sophomore) founded WSG as there were not enough suicide prevention organizations on campus that were (a) open to all students and (b) teaching HOW to combat the mental health crisis. The club holds bi-weekly meetings on various mental health topics and educates members on the resources and tools available to help those who may be struggling. In addition to bi-weekly meetings, there are numerous committees within WSG that help to create fun events, service projects, and fundraisers to promote mental well-being throughout the semester.
